Soheil Ghahremani

Co-Founder, President and Director

Soheil Ghahremani is a Co-Founder, President, and Director of That Moment. A Tax Principal who has worked in public accounting since 2006, Soheil has built his career helping individuals and organizations navigate difficult and complex situations with integrity, clarity, and care.

His commitment to supporting people affected by cancer became deeply personal in 2023, when his mother was diagnosed with lung cancer. After losing her to the disease, Soheil’s grief strengthened his determination to support cancer patients and the families walking beside them. Her journey became a lasting part of the inspiration behind That Moment and its commitment to ensuring that people facing life’s most difficult chapters feel seen, supported, and less alone.

That experience awakened in him a stronger desire to serve others facing similar moments. As he began looking for meaningful ways to help cancer patients and their families, Soheil connected with Stacy through their shared personal experiences and commitment to compassionate service. Together, they helped establish That Moment to transform personal hardship into purposeful action.

Through That Moment, Soheil hopes to help people feel seen, supported, and less alone during some of life’s most difficult chapters. He believes that compassion becomes most powerful when it leads to action, and that even a small act of kindness can bring comfort, dignity, and hope at exactly the moment it is needed most.

Compassion becomes most powerful when it leads to action.

That action can become That Moment.

Stacy Lee

Co-Founder, Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Director

Stacy Lee is a Co-Founder, Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Director of That Moment. Her commitment to the organization comes from her own experience with loss, cancer, and single parenthood.

After losing her father to liver cancer, Stacy also became a single parent and has raised her daughter since she was three years old. During that difficult time, Stacy held on to the belief that she would one day see the light and reach the moment when life began to feel hopeful again.

Her experience inspired her to support single-parent families and cancer patients and their families facing emotional and physical hardship. She understands how important encouragement, practical help, and a caring community can be during life’s darkest periods.

Stacy was already involved in organizing charitable and fundraising activities prior to the founding of That Moment. Those experiences strengthened her commitment to service, and she now brings that same dedication to helping others feel less alone and find their own moment of strength, relief, and hope.

Even in the darkest time, there is a moment when the light begins to return.

That is That Moment.
